Compare junk removal and dumpster rental software

Every hauling software,
compared honestly.

The seven platforms operators actually shop, next to ours. Real prices where they publish them. A blank where they do not. Checked by hand, dated, and sourced to the vendor's own site.

The three legs

Junk. Dumpsters. A price before the truck shows up.

Most operators shopping software need all three. We checked all seven vendors on July 15 and nobody else has them together.

The closest thing to us. Their online booking is an estimate request: the driver prices the job on site, so the customer never sees a number before the truck arrives.

Real book-and-pay checkout, and deep container tracking. Dumpster only: the word "junk" does not appear on their features page.

Best container tracking we saw. Booking runs through a login for commercial accounts at their negotiated rates. Whether a first-time retail customer can get a price is not shown.

Dumpster first, and priced by how many cans you own, which nobody else does. They tell you on their own site that there is no customer portal and no trash routes. We have verified their pricing and not yet their features.

A junk removal landing page, but no junk features in the product. Search their pricing page for "dumpster" and you get nothing. On their junk removal page the one mention is scheduling a delivery as a calendar event.
Workiz0 of 3

DumpsterDumpster: verified no
Priced bookingPriced booking: not published by the vendor
Markets hard to haulers and claims 3,000 of them. "Dumpster" and "roll-off" return zero matches on their junk removal page. Their booking widget runs on availability, and whether a customer ever sees a price is not something they say.
Verified yesVerified noPartial, see noteNot published by the vendor
Why a question mark instead of an X. If a vendor does not publish something, we leave it open rather than score it against them. Four of these cells stay blank because the answer needs a paid account to find out. We would rather show you the hole than guess.

Two vendors you might expect to see here. QuoteIQ is left out because they are not in this category: junk, dumpster, and hauling all return zero matches on their site. ServiceTitan is enterprise field service and we have not put it through this verification pass, so we are not going to put words in their mouth. If you are shopping ServiceTitan, you are probably not shopping us.

And why the DRS column is mostly empty. We verified their pricing, which is the most unusual in the category, and the two gaps they admit to on their own site. We have not put their features through a pass yet. Rather than fill that column from memory or from somebody else's page, we left it blank and labeled it. It gets done before their comparison page ships.
How the industry prices

Four ways to charge a hauler

Before you compare numbers, understand the models. Three of these seven will not give you a number at all without a sales call.

Model 1

Flat monthly

One price, unlimited users, pay it whether you did 4 jobs or 400. Simple, and genuinely cheap if you run high volume in one vertical.

Bin Boss $99iCans $99 / $159
Model 2

Priced by how big you are

The bill moves with your team size or your can count. Hire a second person, or buy your 21st can, and the price steps up whether or not revenue did.

Jobber, by team sizeDRS, by can countWorkiz, 5 seats then extra
Model 3

Book a call to find out

No number on the site. You give a rep your revenue and truck count before you learn what it costs, which means the price can be a function of what you just told them.

WorkizDocketTrashLab
Model 4, ours

Pay when you get paid

$0 base. $1.50 per completed job, first 5 free at signup, 1.5% platform fee on cards. Capped at $149/mo per service type. Slow February costs you almost nothing. Big June is still capped.

How we verify

The rules we hold ourselves to

A comparison page written by a vendor is marketing. Here is what we do so this one is worth your time anyway.

RULE 01

Vendor sites only

Every number comes from the competitor's own live site. We never source a rival's price from another rival's comparison page. That is exactly how the wrong numbers spread in this category.

RULE 02

Unclear stays blank

If a vendor does not publish it, the cell says "not published." We do not turn a hole in their marketing into an X on our page.

RULE 03

Dated, and re-checked

Every page carries the date it was verified. Prices move. When we catch a change, the date moves with it. We re-check the whole set quarterly.

RULE 04

We publish our own losses

Where a competitor is better, we say so on their page and in this table. Bin Boss ($99 flat) and iCans (from $99) are unlimited users, and at high volume in one vertical they beat our cap. iCans tracks containers better than we do. That is in writing on their pages.

Questions

The obvious objections

You should not trust it. You should check it. That is why every claim on this page is dated and points at the competitor's own page, so you can verify any line in about thirty seconds. We also list where they beat us, which is not something a page written to close you would do.

We re-check the whole set quarterly and update the verified date at the top of every page. Pricing in this category moves, and one of these vendors pulled their prices off their own site earlier this year. If you find a number here that is stale, tell us and we will fix it and re-date the page.

Because an X is a claim. If a vendor does not publish whether they do something, the honest answer is that we do not know, not that they cannot. Some of these blanks can only be resolved with a paid account on the other platform. If we get one, we will fill them in.

There is no monthly subscription, and the first 5 jobs on a new account cost nothing. That is a one time welcome, not a monthly allowance. After that it is $1.50 per completed job, plus a 1.5% platform fee on card payments that sits on top of Stripe's own processing rate. Job fees and our platform fee combined cap at $149/mo per service type. If you run junk and dumpsters, that is $298 at the absolute ceiling. A slow month is a small bill, which is the entire point of the model.

It depends on what you run. If dumpsters are your whole business and you never touch junk, Bin Boss ($99 flat) and iCans (from $99) are honestly strong, both with unlimited users, and at high volume in one vertical a flat plan can beat our $149/mo per-service-type cap. iCans tracks containers better than we do. If you run junk removal alongside dumpsters, or you want your customer to see a real price online before they book, we are the only platform in the table above with all three. Read the matrix, check the sources at the bottom of the page, and pick the software that fits the business you actually run.

If you only rent dumpsters and never touch junk, Bin Boss ($99 flat) and iCans (from $99) are honestly good and you should look at them. If you run four other trades besides hauling, Jobber's ecosystem is real. If you do junk and dumpsters and you want your customer to see a price before they book, we are the only one on this page who does that.

No demo. No sales call. Just start.

Your first 5 jobs are on us when you sign up, and you will not talk to anyone unless you want to.

Export your data any time.
