Photos & your gallery
Job photos become the gallery on your website. There are two separate mechanisms for that, and mixing them up is why "I set it and nothing happened".
This applies to both workflows
What are the two workflows?This is the feature nobody discovers on their own: photos your crew takes on jobs become the gallery on your website. An ops action produces a marketing asset, and nothing in the product hints at the connection.
The path
- 1A driver photographs the job in the app.

- 4You feature the pair.
- 5It appears in your website gallery.
A photo needs a labelled partner
An unpaired photo never reaches the gallery. If a job has three "after" shots and no "before", none of them can be featured. This is the usual reason a gallery looks emptier than the job list suggests.
There are TWO galleries, and they are not the same thing
This catches people out, because both produce what looks like the same result on the same part of the page.

Editing one has no effect on the other. If you set featured photos and nothing changed on your site, check whether the curated list is the one actually in use, and vice versa.
Auto-feature
Turn auto-feature on and complete pairs are featured automatically as jobs finish. Recommended once you are running real work -- a gallery nobody has to maintain is a gallery that stays current. Leave it off if you want to approve every photo that goes public.

Both take a heading attribute, and both accept none to render no heading at all when your page already has one.
Common mistakes
"I featured photos and nothing appeared on my website."
Either the photos are not a labelled pair, or your site is using the curated list under Settings > Website instead. They are two different mechanisms.
"My drivers take photos but the gallery is empty."
Photos have to be labelled and paired, then featured. Turn on auto-feature so it stops being a manual step.
"I did not know my job photos went on my website."
They do, once featured. Nothing is published without being featured first, so no photo goes public by accident.
