Your website

Your HaulHQ page (included, already live)

The free single page every tenant gets when onboarding finishes: what it renders, where the content comes from, what makes it go live, and what it cannot do.

This applies to both workflows

What are the two workflows?

When you finish onboarding, HaulHQ publishes a public page for you at `yourname.haulhq.app`. There is nothing to build and nothing to pay. It is the same booking and quote machinery the WordPress plugin embeds, arranged as one page.

What is on it

  • A header and cover area with your company name, logo, headline and phone number.
  • Your quote or booking flow -- the junk quote form, the dumpster booking widget, or both if you run both verticals.
  • Your services and equipment, from your catalog.
  • About your business -- description, founded year, jobs completed, team photo, highlights.
  • Your service area, from the cities you set.
  • Reviews and testimonials.
  • A photo gallery, which your crew fills by taking photos on jobs.
  • The chat widget, if you have it switched on.
  • Schema.org markup, so search engines can read your business details properly.

Image sizes

Cover photo: 1600 x 1200 px or larger, landscape. Logo: 512 x 512 px square, or 800 x 320 for a wide wordmark -- PNG or SVG with a transparent background looks best. These are the same numbers the hint text under each field gives you.

What makes it go live

The page is not public the moment your account exists. It goes live when both of these are true, and it is de-indexed from search until they are:

  1. 1Your service area has at least one city. Zips alone are not enough -- this is the single most common reason a site stays dark.
  2. 2Your catalog has at least one active service or piece of equipment set to show on your website.

Why there is a gate at all

Without it, every new signup would get a public, indexable page before configuring anything -- which is exactly the payoff someone signing up to spam search results wants. The gate is about configuration, not judgement: finish setup and you are live.

What it cannot do

  • It cannot use your own domain. Tenant pages are served on yourname.haulhq.app and there is no way to point yourcompany.com at one. If that matters, you want WordPress.
  • It is one page. No service pages, no city pages, no separate about page.
  • There is no blog.
  • The layout is fixed. You control the words, the photos and two colors; you do not move sections around.

None of that stops it taking jobs. Link it from your Google Business Profile, put it on your truck, and text it to callers -- it is a working booking page, not a placeholder.

Common mistakes

"My page is live but nothing shows on it."

Almost always an empty catalog or a service area with no cities -- the same two things the live gate checks. The page renders, the sections are just empty.

"I cannot find my page in Google."

Until both live conditions are met the page is deliberately de-indexed. After that, indexing is Google's timetable, not ours.

"I uploaded my logo as the cover photo and it looks wrong."

They are two different fields. The logo is the small mark in the corner; the cover photo is the big landscape image at the top. Both are under Settings > Website, except the logo which is under Settings > General.

"My gallery is empty and I cannot find where to upload."

It fills from photos your crew takes on jobs. That is the main mechanism and it needs no separate upload -- see Photos & your gallery.
